Podcast Feed ~ Open in iTunes ~ Complete Show Listing

A podcast is a “sort-of” Internet radio broadcast. We started June 23, 2005 because Jason was pissed off at an article in the Advocate. Since then, the over 140 episodes of the show have been downloaded 250,000 times!

We talk about issues relevant to the GLBT community. Coming out, mixed-orientation marriages, and political struggles are just some of the things YOU want to hear about. We attempt to cover a wide range of issues. Listener participation is always welcome. Your stories make this show fresh and exciting. It’s great to hear from such a large diverse audience.

Jason’s experiences growing up as a gay man and his unique view on life and the world around us provide interesting commentary on a variety of issues. He enjoys hearing points of view from listeners around the world. Through covering issues covering the gay community, Jason has found out how similar we really are, yet at the same time discovering some unique cultural patterns.

Listener Feedback

I just wanted to say I’m a new listener and I’m enjoying your show. More people can relate to your stories then you probably think.

I just found your podcast via the new iTunes and thought it was interesting. Some of the stuff you were saying I really identified with (being 25 years old, gay male, shy, sometimes depressed, unsure, etc., etc. You know what you said).

It’s 1:05am in suburban Indiana, and I just listened to your coming out podcast. What a treat! The conversational flow of your storytelling is brilliant, it’s like I have an old friend sitting on my bed yapping away as I go about my boring computer work.

It’s just nice to hear someone in the gay community talk about something other than sex, drugs and the bars… The internet is the only connection I have with people “like me” and much as I hate that idea, it is all too true.

Researching podcasts for my university and future student radio station, I found your podcast and wanted to congratulate you on what seems so far as a very straight and open dialogue.

Had to drop you a note, I found your podcasts on ITunes and simply think they are great. It is wonderful to listen to your stories, views and insights. I relived much of my own past and feel I though I am listening to a good friend while I drive in my car. Your coming out topic was wonderful, and even though I am a 41 year old openly gay man happily partnered for 13 years, for a few minutes I was able to reach back in my past to feelings I had not felt in years.

I live in Calgary Alberta Canada. I recently found your podcasts on iTunes and I’ve been hooked on them since. As many have said before, your style is quite refreshing. All my close friends (minus my boyfriend) are straight. It’s great to hear another gay man’s point of view on current issues facing our community.

After downloading iTunes 4.9, I discovered podcasts and became hooked. I found that there’s a lot of chaff out there, but your show is a gem. I like your program because it’s real. You touch on issues that many of us have had to deal with at various points in our lives.

I am a 19 yr. old gay male from… Germany. I have found your Podcast through the new iTunes and started listening at about the beginning of July. I found them very interesting, so I downloaded the whole lot that was available. I have to say, I liked the ones about coming out best since they really helped me to come out to the first few of my friends last week. (THANK YOU SO MUCH, JASON!!!)
