Social Media: Diversity & Activism

At PodCamp Pittsburgh 3 I just gave this presentation on diversity, advocacy, and activism.  I really think I hit it on the head this time.  You can see the progression over the last few years of my talks on these topics.  I think I’ve come to a much better understanding and ability to describe something that isn’t there.  Yes, social media (podcasting, blogging, etc.) are by definition diverse.  Whether it is a party of one or a show that gives the points of view from thousands, we break free from the bonds of radio, TV, newspapers, and magazines.  Good stuff… I hope.
