I hate few things more than selfish parents. On the season premier of ABC TV’s Supernanny, I got to see just that. It disgusts me. I mean, a penis just doesn’t happen to fall into a vagina and spray. Does it? Did I miss something in 10th grade health class?
Besides that, I am finding more and more straight young (and older) people not practicing safer sex practices. I have NEVER had unprotected sex and it’s likely to remain that way for some time. People used to wait until marriage until having sex at all. Today, maybe we should wait until marriage (etc.) before having unprotected sex. I have little doubt from the accounts of others that it IS so much better, but I won’t risk that.
Since I’m gay, I’m not very likely to knock up a woman. It ain’t gunna happen. My point is that sometimes things happen and women get pregnant. If you can’t handle the responsibility of a child or are too selfish to do so, why did you do something unsafe in the first place? Yes, I know that “the pill” doesn’t work all of the time, but that’s not a great excuse in my book.

I want to protest at an abortion clinic—not pro-life, not pro-choice, but pro-ductive. I’ll hold a sign that says “What Part of ‘Morning-After Pill’ Don’t You Understand?”
