Quiet Weekend

I had another quiet weekend, as usual.  I didn’t feel like going out at all.  The cats surely enjoyed that!  I finally started reading another book and brought my WoW character up to level 38!  Now, one day of work followed by one day off, then back to work for 3 more.

Inside Jason

I’m about to read a new book by James Lipton, host of Bravo’s Inside the Actor Studio. The book, Inside Inside sounds like a very good read. I’ll comment on it once I’m done with it. On every show, the host asks the following questions of each and every guest that [...]

Organ Donation

Before you think that “organ” refers to “penis”, GROW UP!  In a previous post I talked about how I cannot donate blood.  Because of the U.S. FDA’s ruling about MSM (men who have sex with men) blood donation saying that it’s against someone’s policies to let men who’ve had sex with another man who’s had [...]

Ethel Merman: A Life

For Christmas, I received a great book called Ethel Merman: A Life by Brian Kellow. It’s an honest look into this phenomenal performer’s life. Brian Kellow, a fellow gay man, pulls no punches while talking about Ethel and her friends. He’s not afraid to out gay performers of the past and even [...]

Colorized Films

Tis the season for colorized movies.  Oh, how I doth despise them.  Perhaps the technology is improving, but get rid of those fake, washed, over-saturated colors!  When I want to see an old movie, please show me the original black and white.  The art at the time was centered around the fact that the movies [...]

Merry Christmas!

I just want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!  Enjoy your day with friends and family.  If you’re alone this year, indulge in something you love. Merry Christmas!

Litany of the (Self-righteous) Saints

Note: this post attempts to show that racism is alive and well in Warren, Pennsylvania. It is disgusting and uncalled for. The statements made by a certain individual made me ill. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. ~Jason

So, my cousin is dating an African-American gentleman. According to some, [...]

My Favorite Movie Comedies

Some of my favorite movie comedies are just compiled of gag after gag and slapstick comedy, but still, I tend to just embrace them. There are the offbeat, little-known movies like Haunted Honeymoon and others that are regarded today as terrible like The Money Pit. My two absolute favorites are National Lampoon’s Christmas [...]

Small Towns

Whilst visiting my family for Christmas I decided to eat at America’s favorite bar and grille, Applebee’s.  My mom and I went in and had to wait a few minutes for a table.  As the maître d’ was seating us, I noticed what I hate about Warren, PA… the people who can’t keep their freaking [...]

Alone

There are some people in life who are perfectly content living alone and being alone.  I am not one of those people.  Maybe it was my conservative, Christian upbringing that gives me the desire to be partnered?  Maybe it’s because my parents divorced when I was only five years old?  I really don’t know.

Whatever the [...]
